Did not want to hijack the other thread so I thought I would start one for guns that you will never sell, even if it means missing a meal :)

I have two. One is my first deer gun, a Remington 760 in 30-06 - It was passed down from my Gramps to my dad to me. It was made in 1964 I believe

The second is the first rifle I was ever given. A Marlin Glenfield Model 20 bolt action .22

My gramps gave me this gun then a year later, he made a stock for it out of a piece of walnut he harvested from a tree at my uncles place.

I've never sold or traded off a gun. I have a bunch I'll probably never shoot again but just can't part with.

Two that my grandfather gave to me. Both Remington's.
Sportsman's 58 12 gauge, and a 552 Speedmaster .22LR.
And my first deer rifle. Ruger M77 RSI .308

Marlin Model 39A Gold Trigger...was my dad's and some of my fondest memories have that rifle slung on his shoulder.

A 1920's model LC Smith SxS 12 Ga with 30 inch barrels and rabbit ear exposed hammers.

A four inch S&W 626 in .357 Mag would be tough to part with...

1954 Colt 1911 that my grandfather bought new.
1974 870 and a 742 Woodsmaster that belonged to my Dad.

There are a few dozen others, but it has more to do with my hoarding tendencies than sentimental value.

Ruger m77 270. Actually killed a couple with a bow before the gun, but it was still the first gun to kill a doe.

1980 Marlin gold trigger 30-30. My dad bought it new and I pretty much claimed it as mine when I started hunting.

Old single shot 12 gauge. Not even sure the brand. It was my great granddad's gun.

Charles Daly 12 ga pump. Nothing special but I remember my dad putting it on layaway for me when I was about 16 and it was my first gun that I ever paid for.

TC Encore. I bought it when I was 19. Sentimental to me and I'll never sell it.

Have an old Winchester .22 that Is my dads but I've had it in my safe for several years now.

I inherited quite a few guns from my dad. There are a bunch that I'll probably never even shoot, but they will never be sold. I also won't sell any of the ones he bought for me as gifts.

I’m usually not in the selling business with guns lol I just buy them

I would possibly part ways with my AR though even though it was a gift... I’m just not an AR guy, love bolt rifles .. probably still wouldn’t sell though, I like to have one just to have it but I rarely shoot it.

Definitely the 2 my grandfather gave me.

a 16 ga side by side Ithica shotgun and a 8 mm mauser with bayonet from WWI. Both were my great grandfathers guns.

Also probably would never part with my first .22 and the first gun i purchased by myself a 20 ga Remington 870.

That being said, I have NEVER sold a gun and would probably never sell one, unless I absolutely had to.

Old mass arms 12 gauge I inherited from my grandfather. A shotgun and 2 winchester 22 rifles I inherited from my dad. Those 4 are never considered for sale and my kids know they have to pass them down to their kids.
