Gun Show in Dyersburg this weekend and in Jackson next weekend. I already know many here are “anti-gun show” based on the last thread, but for those who are not… come on out! Ive gotten to know a lot of these old guys who setup and honestly the show is fun every time I have time to go now. Lots of guys in their 70’s, some in their 80’s.. still collecting and tradin guns, and with a wealth of knowledge on what to look for, look at, stay away from etc etc etc. Several of the guys I know who setup are also making their deals with folks, then also subtracting the door fee off at the end of the deal without prior notice. Believe it or not, some very good folks. Now, I have to decide where to go eat biscuits and gravy before the show

Was a great show today .. and my arse is draggin! Worked last night .. neighbors 24 yr old son partied in their driveway until 4:30AM .. at which point I gave up and got in the coffee then to the show. My old butt don’t function as well on no sleep these days, but I plan to take a “sleep assistant” tonight and sleep thru any pending earthquake etc that may take place. At which point.. coffee, and back to the show. Jackson is next weekend

This current weekend is a Great American Show.. Ron is The Man! 95+% guns and gun accessories (some knives and military gear but not a lot). Next weekend is an RK Show.. To put it mildly, RK’s layout seems to be one of whomever pays him the most $ under the table, gets special privileges, and in addition, lots of TShirt sales, and even an occasional candle vender. Dumb s##t IMO, but they do it. When you search online for your local shows etc, do your best to attend the Great American Shows.. avoiding politics, tshirts and candles, and a few other things that don’t belong. With that said, there will be a lot of tables of guns if it’s like the last few shows there, even being an RK show.
