Got my turkey gun back from Etheridge Hydrographics and got the fastfire on.

I'm totally ignorant on dipping guns. Does the dip hold up to scratching, immersion in water, covering in mud, and just general abuse I put a gun through during turkey season? Before camo guns were the norm from manufacturers, I just wrapped my wood guns in camo tape and replaced it every few years when it wore off in faded.

Like anything else it's gonna wear and tear it's not a magic coating that's gonna withstand everything.

Seems like an odd place to have fastfire mounted…. I would of thought that would of been the thinnest place on receiver.

Front 2 mounting holes. The back ones were way to close for my liking.

Lol. I have a Carlson's ordered for it as well. But I hit it with a little matte green paint earlier.
