Just wish we had some turkeys to hunt in south Wayne Co !!!!! 10 years ago i loved turkey season!!! now its just a disappointment!!!!

I cant believe it. I thought they would be way ahead of schedule, but they aren't. Large winter flocks have just broken into sub flocks and they havent even thought about starting to breed here.

At least I have a sub flock of 7 LBs and 25 hens roosted. 2yo low man on the totem pole has got to want to come looking for me in the morn.

We really need to push season opener to April14th.

Good luck! Definitely henned up already around here. Several lone hens and roadkill seen this afternoon.

Think it's one I was after last year. He ALWAYS had hens with him. Ran all the younger birds off constantly. Smart old feller. Maybe he'll make a mistake tomorrow morning
