Gonna be starving all day

Between the holidays & the weather I haven't grilled anything in a while now.
Been craving steak, pork steak or pork chops for a while now.

It is not supposed to be raining this afternoon and the temps are gonna be like 60 or so from what I hear.
Soooo tonight is the night.

Believe I will go with good ole ribeyes, baked taters (If I can find any worth cooking, if not I will go with fries) garlic bread and cooked cabbage.

Been thinking about it all night and will all day today.

Sheesh, I may starve to death before I can get home and cook.

interesting about taters.

i have noticed that potato quality has reached a new low.

No tater from Aldi's can be eaten unless you want larvae with your tater. Near ruined Thanksgiving meal when just as I dumped taters into the mixmaster I noticed a dark spot and there was a bug inside the tater. I gave that batch to the guests.

Kroger has a machine that bruises and cuts every tater or it cannot be sold. There is no other explanation that makes sense.

I will be eating tuna fish. Not up to steak but I had a hankering

Taters at walmart here are about the size of an elongated golf ball and are normally a gross looking green color.
The Food Rite has better quality & larger taters but not all the time.
E.W. James at Union City is my go to for taters but a 40 to 45 minute round trip is not always fesible.

Time of the year seems to play a big part too.

Well technically I would be alot closer to the one in Martin since I work in Martin. LOL
They moved locations and for whatever reason I never even think about the store here.

Might have to check their taters out.
I think I have been in that store one time since they moved.
