Over a year ago, several TnDeer members donated to the construction of new living quarters for Marine Lance Corporal Cody Evans of Speedwell, Tennessee, who lost both his legs to an IED in Afghanistan. LCpl Evans just received a gift from a charitable organization that supports wounded Marines and Navy Corpsmen. Check out the slogan on his shirt. One of many pictures from over ten years of war worth far more than a thousand words.

Link to the Semper Fi Fund that donated the ATV wheelchair. I give them my highest recommendation.

Thanks for the update and thanks for letting us know about the Semper Fi Fund. I like to donate to these kind of groups and I had not heard of this organization before. A quick check on Charity Navigator shows they have a 4-star rating of 67.85 out of 70. That is a fantastic rating and is just about as good as it gets for a charitable organization. They must do great work for these heroes who have sacrificed so much. Donation sent!

Please give LCpl Evans our sincere thanks for his selfless service.

Thank you for the research on the Semper Fi Fund. I've seen some of the work they do first hand and know that my donations will be put to the best and most efficient use. More importantly, thank you for your donation. I assure you it will make a difference in the lives of those who richly deserve our support.
