I'd like to know what marriage has to do with the federal government or any government for that matter ?????
I can make this whole gay marriage thing go away in a New York second;
Change the IRS law so they can get the MONEY considerations in the eyes of the tax law and then 'fix' the Insurance companies to give them the same MONEY incentives.
Problem goes away- it's never been about being 'married' ever, it's simply about MONEY - period.

It's coming sooner than later. Too much of America, including a large majority of young people, now support it. Liberals are winning this battle and others in the media and especially in Americas public schools and universities where they have unfettered access to the impressionable minds of America's youth.

I was proud of my daughter to hear that her response was that just because a lot of people agree with something, that doesn't make it the truth. She kept it respectful and friendly but stood firm. It's obvious though that the constant media pushing for gays has paid off. They are seen as just another alternative to most young people. And it's not coming from schools either. It's that blasted TV set we all have in our homes. IT's a great thing for entertainment but shuld be filtered heavily.

I was a lucky one, going to a small county school where we still sang the Pledge of Allegiance (with "under God"), celebrated Christmas and Easter--and called it by those names, and if anyone was gay they must have kept it to themselves, instead of wanting everyone to accept gay rights.
