Been looking all week. Rheem, ruud, York 14 seer 3.5 ton gas pack is around $4500 installed trane and Lennox are 14.5 and are about $5500 installed for the gas pack. Rheem trane and York dual fuel are $6400-$6800 installed. Each of te contractors I looked at seemed to have a good reputation and several years of experience. Any help

I have the Trane dual fuel and they have been great. Acts like a heat pump until the temp reaches 35 degrees and then switches over to burn gas. Our total utilities in a 2700 sq ft house average less than $125 per month ( not including water)

If you have nat. gas there is no good reason to go with dual fual. If you are on propane then you mite think about dual fual.
