I needed gas today so while I was out in Murfreesboro I filled up. Didn’t see any stations out and none of them packed. Seemed like a normal day.
the ones on my side (Blackman) have none of the upper grades or at least didn't. Regular or Diesel that is it. Dumb people showing up with 100+ gallon tanks and filling up on Diesel.

It was a ransom ware attack. Some Colonial employee clicked on that link in the suspicious email or maybe someone surfing porn sites in the office.

Colonial paid the hackers $5 million in crypto.

There’s a chilling sentence in the Zero Hedge story about the crypto ransom ware payment by Colonial. “What nuclear power plant(s) will be [shut down] and forced to pay ransom next?”

The places I have gone have not had it. Now if they do where you are and it is the same... then yeah something is not right there.
Because 93 is the only thing you can find at the terminals. Some stores are putting full loads of 93 in the 87 tanks just to keep the store wet.

Bluebird store in downtown skinem didn’t have cars lined up at the pumps a few minutes ago, guess everyone has all they can hoard here.
Yeah, one thing that limits gas hoarding is the requirement to have cans to put it in. And they all sell out in 1/2 a day once the panic sets in. I have a bunch of 5 gallon cans for mowers and tractors but they were already full before I even heard of the shortage. May keep one with me next time I drive my truck though because 14mpg and a 17 gallon tank don't give you a lot of flexibility in where and when you buy gas. :)

Use gasbuddy outage tracker if you want to check on things in your area. It’s fairly accurate.
