I was disappointed to see that this WMA was closed this year but took a drive through there today and was surprised to see that some of the TWRA WMA parking signs are still up. This could really cause someone to get into a lot of trouble.

I haven't been there in years but it seemed that in the early days I had to get a permission slip from the guards at the entrance of the plant before I could hunt. The guards can probably give you some insight on closed and open areas right now. I would call the guard shack.
TVA will be doing a lot of work at the plant in the coming years, mainly dealing with closing out ash ponds and land field expansion. I’m assuming TVA likely pulled the WMA from TWRA because of that.
