I think it's great. I went to school there. Got there in 2002 and considered walking on, then got word it was shutting the football program down. Glad it's starting back up

He will do good there and rebuild them, he has been offered several HC jobs but just couldnt bring him self to leave Tennessee this job is perfect to him

I knew he had applied for several but didnt know he turned one down.

that might be great for some people BUT i bet my Johnson City taxes will go out the roof to help pay for a new field, since the Mini Dome is not good enough for the Bucs to play in.

I think he is just helping start the program not sure what else he may be doing. The students will be paying for some of it at an extra $125 fee per semester which based on 15,000 students for fall and spring would be about 3.7 million not including summer semester. I know they are designing an outdoor stadium for the football program. Where they are going to put it is another problem to be solved. ETSU doesnt have much vacant space left on campus.

I was tickled to see the football Bucs coming back. I had a blast at the games when I was there.
