I hate the new format to pieces.

#1- is there a quick way to scan through your album? Once I get past the first 20 or so pics,it is a laborious project. of click-wait,click, wait.

#2- once I find the picture, how do I save it back to my computer?

Perhaps I have a different format than you. I have no problem scanning through the album. I open the album, scroll down to the bottom of the displayed photos, wait a second, it opens up a new batch, and I scroll down further. Rinse, repeat.

Open a picture and at the upper right is an Options button. One option is to Download, which downloads it to your computer. Then it will be up to you to relocate it from your Downloads file into whatever picture file you desire.

Or you can email it to yourself. Again, in Options.
Hope that helps.

I got the save to computer going again. We have the same format. But it takes forever for it to reload a new batch of pictures. It only reloads about four at a time. The old format you could scan a page at a time and jump two pages at a time if you wanted to.

To save to computer, I right click on the picture and a menu drops down. I left click on save as and it goes right to MY Pictures on my computer. I just could not get that to work the first couple times I tried it.

Hrmm. sounds like your comp is being a little finicky, or perhaps your connection. When mine is running slow, I will run a maintenance scan with SuperAntiSpyware to clean off all the cookies and any spyware. Do you have such an animal onboard?

Run a virus program onceor twoce a week. Comp works fin. That is the only site I have a problem with. When they first came out with the new format, I switched and had the same problem. So, I switched back and no probs. Now that I have to switch to the new format, same problem. It is the only problem I have.

Much of what attaches to your computer from internet usage is outside the realm of "virus". I'd guess Photobucket requires a little more performance from your comp than most other sites because it is very graphic-intensive. And the fact that it is not a universal problem, since our very moderate laptop has no issue with it, would indicate that there is something going on with your computer that is different.

I'm anything but a computer guy, but running one of the free spyware (not antivirus) cleaners could be beneficial. The one I mentioned is free just as brmaster's recommendation. Seems a free fix doesn't cost a whole lot to risk.

That option expires in a few days I think and you have no choice. I too switched back but recently switched to the new format because it is about to be mandatory.
