I don't personally but know a few guys that do that I trust. According to them if you strip it down and clean the fire out of it and oil it you won't have any issues especially if you are just using it as a turkey gun.

Unfortunately, the weight is 7 pounds as opposed to a 870 20 ga youth around 5 pounds. That makes it about the same weight as my 12 ga 870.

But, it is a great buy for a turkey gun.

Yeah better options out there for a daily carry one, but for a kid I like them a tad heavier to absorb some of the recoil personally
