That's a wrap.

As bad as I want to hit the woods the next 3 days and try and play the game one more time I have too much work around the house and garden to do and our daughter and grandkids are coming in from TX Friday evening so, yeah, tag soup this year.

Hopefully next season will afford me a better result. All in all I enjoyed every time I got to get out. The one bird I did hear gave me the thrill I crave. I just wish he hadn't been across the line on private or he would have at least broke and come to see me.

Good luck to any that are still chasin' 'em!!

Guess I'll get my bow out and start shooting soon.

I'm salivating for this weekend!!!!

Haven't turkey hunted since last weekend of April, no trips out west this year to save vacation days for my moose hunt and salmon/halibut fishing this Sept. Looks like lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s/ low 80s forecast. I REALLY want to kill a certain bird, but I'm thinking the first tom that plays the game isn't gonna get a pass. Won't get to hunt all day, as I have to get 15 acres of summer plots planted and fertilized.
