Hey Everybody, does anybody take their watercraft to these flood zones to try to assist people? I read about the Cajun Navy or or other things like that? who's networked into this type of thing. Being semi-retired, retired military and still pretty healthy I'm getting curious about these types of things.

I believe we have one of those "navy's" here but not as big as the cajun one obviously.
Also all the roads leading West to help those folks out in Waverly were flooded over in spots.

Based on some of the video I saw of the Waverly flooding there's no way you could navigate it in a boat. The water was moving way too fast. Maybe something small, maneuverable, and powerful like a jet ski, but you're still no match for some of the huge debris.

I don't have a boat but if I did I would not feel comfortable navigating flood waters in an unfamiliar area. I would worry about becoming a problem for people who know what they are doing.
