...I'm so pumped!

I set up my HCO Panda on Saturday evening. My first "real" pics were texted this am. I have 150+ pics of nothing but wind blown trees/grass. These are texted pics...therefore seem low-quality. The same pics pulled from the card will be 10x better.

How exactly does the email/text feature work? Do you have to pay extra for this. Do you have to have a specific cell provider?

If its Moultrie's system, it's an additional charge and you need to buy a sending unit.

I've had great luck with my cameras but if you don't read the box really closely, you'd think you could set it up and have pictures emailed to you right away. It takes an AT&T signal and a monthy fee to get the pics sent to you. And it takes more batteries unless you get the solar charging unit also. All things I'd get if I wanted to dump $400 a camera set-up plus a monthly fee.

I still use Moultrie and would buy more of them when I need more, but now I know what to expect.

I'd never get any work done if my camera updated me everytime a deer walked by. :) Cost is the only thing stopping me from getting one of these - would love to have it.

Speaking of work, I was sitting in a board meeting yesterday when these popped up. Had to excuse myself to the restroom because I was so excited.
