Read a couple other first buck threads so thought I'd play along too. Shot a handful of does over the years, always enjoyed deer hunting but it was third fiddle to ducks & turkey. Haven't been able to hunt weekends this KY gun season at all so I decided to knock off half hour early (covid telework & all) & go sit for the last 2 hours of shooting time yesterday. Saw a ton of deer. Had several good looks at does but decided to just wait it out and see what happened because I knew there were good deer in the area. Lo & behold about 20 minutes left of shooting time and here he comes. Hops a fence and gets to within 75ish yards. Sent one down the barrel and he dropped right there. Tickled to get him and I dropped him off at the taxidermist this morning.
