Haven't bow hunted since 2015. Two back surgeries and a bad shoulder in between. Was feeling good enough to to go try a new bow at my local bow shop. Still only drawing 50 pounds, but it'll get me back in a tree this year.
Went with a Mission Switch package, a couple dozen Gold Tip arrows and a few muzzy fixed blades. Practice has been going well.
Hoping to get on a TN velvet buck next month on a buddy's farm.
First out of state hunt is planned for mid October. Going to try a DIY public hunt for Sika deer in Maryland.
