It has been 5 years since I got a new prescription for contacts.
I only wear my contacts when I am hunting or fishing or doing something where I want to wear sunglasses.
I ripped my last pair 2 years ago the Friday before we were leaving for Guntersville Alabama for a bowfishing tournament.
They left me a pair that was "close" to what I wear in the drop box and I picked them up on my way out of town.
I eventually ripped them also and have been without since early spring.
I finally went yesterday and got a new pair.
He actually gave me 2 different powers so I could decide if I wanted to see better than before at distance and worse when I try to read or visa versa.
Wow, I didn't know my vision had gotten that much worse since I got my last prescription.
I can't read for squat while I am wearing them but I can see GOOD out farther away.
I might can hit a duck now.... if we ever get any.
Guess there's a reason people go to the eye doctor every year huh?
Reminds me of the time I bought a new set of golf clubs, after 15 years.
