Finally got into one

Went with hollar hunter after some rockfish and I finally got me a decent one at 14-8. He hit the lure while I was burning it back to make another cast. Line got in the lower unit and had me worried but I worked it out and mark netted the fish perfectly. Water was a little higher and murky than it should be but I'll take this fish any day

Awesome! They are a neat fish (except when they are eating trout!).

Good fish. One time we went to wheeler dam we had to use the big motor and troll at a pretty good speed to get them to hit.

well technically both the trout and the rockfish are introduced...I did catch this one on a rainbow trout colored Redfin

Nice. I always tilt my motor up out of the water when I am fishing for them that way I only have to worry about the trolling motor.
