fighting purr

looking for a fighting purr. How does everyone like these? pros? cons? anyone got one they would part with

I dont know I just use a slate and a diaphram at the same time.

Slate call or diaphragm. If you have a buddy with you , both use a slate.

I have the knight and hale and when nothing else worked it did on a couple of public land birds

The con for me is it's just kinda bulky.... maybe a 4x4x2 square... takes a big pocket to carry it.

Slate and mouth call works great. No need for an extra call.

As others have said you can use two existing calls or you can do it with a single slate or single mouth call by just speeding up the purring sequences to imitate 2 birds

It is a decent tactic and I usually save it as a last resort. And once you start don't stop until its time to shoot.
