I'm planning on running 300 ft of barbed wire in the front of one of our fields. It's for nothing more than to keep trespassers out.. Or attempt. As of now, I have full intentions of using cedar posts. How far apart should I space these? If that goes well, I'll be running 200 yards or so further through two rows of pine using T-Posts. Should those be the same distance? Thanks

The farther apart they are the easier it is to slip between the runs.make the last run 5' high.takes a big fellar to step over that & if he does dont mess with him lol

why not just put T post in, and use some cedar on corners and maybe every 50 foot or so,
But post should be 8 to 10 foot, depending on how strong you want to make it,
