Fawn Bleat for Coyotes?

Surprised a pretty red/gray coyote this morning while turkey hunting, and it got me to thinking. I have yet to take a coyote off this farm where I deer hunt, and would like to get a couple before the fawns arrive.
Does a fawn bleat work well for this? (I don't have an electronic call.)

Yes it does, & it's easy to do with an enclosed reed or open reed call.

I've almost been run over by doe's doing it though. lol (be careful)

Excellent, will have to do this.
The one black coyote I used to see on my game cams hasn't been around in months. I think he might have been hit on the road about a mile from the farm, but this red one is pretty.

I got the Knight & Hale fawn bleat call.
Works great. Brings those momma does right in!!
Unfortunatley, no coyotes yet.

First yote I killed came to a fawn bleat during bow season. That is the only one I know for sure that did. I make and use distressed rabbit calls now, we have tons of rabbits here. I have also had two good 8 pts come running to a fawn bleat early season, they didn't leave .

Not sure since I haven't looked for a long time but aren't electronic calls illegal? Would hate for TWRA to get you if you started using one.

E-calls are good to go in TN, except for Fox.
And of course you can't have one when huting turkeys.

Do be careful....
I got charged by a Deer yesterday.
I must have gotten too close to a Fawn and I was calling a Coyote.
Deer ran straight at me...then figured out I was a human and spun back around behind some trees and snorted at me for about 5 minutes
