yeah...I think I'm going to be doing a lot more sight fishing this year. Trying to get my first boat set up of my own (I've been using my dad's for years, but looking to take the plunge soon). It's pretty daunting that I could easily spend as much on the electronics as I do on the boat hull...lol

Dang I don't even have that much money invested in my old tin boat. My depth finder is basic, it tells me the depth and fish but the thermometer is broken. I won't spend any more than a couple hundred on a new unit, whenever I do get one. I'd rather keep the motors and batteries working well than bother with some high tech side imaging that costs more than the boat.
