Nope. In the city limits of Sevierville and only about 250 yds from the Kroger plaza.
I watch it during my lunch break a few times per/week.
I hate those eagles! J/K
When I was doing graduate work, I had solar powered backpacks on my herons so I could track them. I was flying the river systems one day looking for my herons and I got a signal from Douglas lake. I was flying every day the weather would allow, and I kept getting that one heron on Douglas. I had put the transmitter on it on Watts Bar when it was a chick. Since it had not moved much, I decided to home in on the signal and get a visual on the bird to make sure everything was ok. It runs out I was reading a signal on a bald eagle that the Dollywood Foundation had marked. They had used the same frequency I had. I was miffed. I had lost a months worth of locations on a fledging chick, and by the time I figured out what was happening, my bird was long gone, never to be located again.
