I'd be willing to bet a lot more dogs were eaten in America 100 years ago(especially during the depression) than folks care to admit. ...along with cats, horses, donkeys and other "pets".

You'd be surprised. Toss them in a crock pot with a can of cream of mushroom soup along with carrots, tators, and some onions and you got yourself a good meal.

If you can eat dog you could probably eat yote too!!!
I could eat either if I had to. ...don't think I would eat either "just because" though. Then again maybe I would given the opportunity, but surely wouldn't go out of my way to try it.

To me, most dogs only taste good if you marinade them for at least 24 hours in an acidic/fruity marinate and then slow smoke for 12+ hours. I've also found a nice red wine compliments the taste of canine cuisine.
