Dog Meat Fest

I'd be willing to bet a lot more dogs were eaten in America 100 years ago(especially during the depression) than folks care to admit. ...along with cats, horses, donkeys and other "pets".

Read the diaries of Lewis and Clark. They ate dog like crazy.

I wonder what the best tasting breed is?

Bet is not a Shih Tzu (yugozu) or a Cocker Spaniel ;)

You'd be surprised. Toss them in a crock pot with a can of cream of mushroom soup along with carrots, tators, and some onions and you got yourself a good meal.

To me, most dogs only taste good if you marinade them for at least 24 hours in an acidic/fruity marinate and then slow smoke for 12+ hours. I've also found a nice red wine compliments the taste of canine cuisine.
