had a great hunt with Matt aka Os2 outdoors. We hunted the morning in Montgomery county neither of us saw a deer then had a good little lunch at some market on hwy 12
the evening hunt was on a massive corn field in Robertson county.
3 does step out 430 busted the lead doe 66 yds never took a step.
this is where a great hunt took a turn it was getting closer to dark had 3 does about 220 ish out in the field.
I wish i had left well enough alone but i assumed it was 3 does and dropped the last one . it was not it was a lil 3 pointer
i have found in 17 years of deer hunting that it is a lot like life every decision you make has consequences some good some bad some indifferent I am now tagged out .... no big deal but was looking forward to fridays hunt in wayne county and busting a good buck well it will be doe patrol and no late evening or early morning shots
i really hate it i do i should be tickled to check off robertson county just mad at my self for making a bad call
it was an honest mistake but dang my wife wants to send me to the eye doctor grrrr
well a hot Jacuzzi and a few cold busch beers ................. i am good

162 amax 3067 is deadly still yet to to have a deer take a step no matter where the bullet hits
good news matt is doing the euro mount on my 8 point from 11-1
