Silver buddys, Ned rig , maybe jerk bait depending on water temperature & weather. Might try wiggle wart sometime they work . I would target bluff walls in Mitchell creek and gravel points just inside Hendricks creek.

you guys ever tightline reel light jigs or float and fly 45 degree banks there? ive caught some accidental smb and spots targeting black crappie on ky lake doing it.

Find a shale bank next to a feeder creek, anchor boat on bank.
Use a 2 ft leader, 1/2 oz barrel sinker above the swivel.
#2 baitholder hook, alewife, cast out 4/5 lines on the bottom, leave the bail open, wait for the bite.
That's exactly how guide Johnny Rush does it.

one of my favorite ways to fish wintertime Smallies. I also caught my PB Smallmouth on Dale Hollow on my Bucket list day. Was throwing a square bill... Awesome Lake
