CZ 455 Varmint,4.5-14 LR/T M1 mounted in Burris rings with 20 Minute taper,,

I been banging the 20 inch gong at 300 just about every shot,,I think I have enough adjustments to make 450,,thinking about a 20 taper rail plus the 20 in the rings and see if I can hit the plate at 500,,

according to JBM at 400 22LR ammo drops a foot ever 10 yards,,heck it is a lot cheaper than 338 Lapua ammo,aand just about as fun,,which is all that counts.

Shooting .22lr at or past 200 yards can be just as challenging and fun as shooting centerfire 500 to 1000 yards. And it is way cheaper.

the adjustments at 300 are about like shooting a 308 at 1,000,

You change scopes that quick with that gun?
didn't you have a Weaver a couple of days ago?

I got a 10/22 heavy barrel still in the box and was thinking I got a real gun when I picked it up, now I'm ready to ditch it

yes,after shooting the Brno with an upgraded set of Match Sights I decided I dont need any other rifle set up to shoot targets off a rest.

I took the Weaver V24 off last night and put the Leupold on,,it is a real blast to shoot prone off a bipod on out there at 250-300 yards,,I need a 20 taper rail combined with the Burris offset 20 taper rings and I should be able to get a zero at 500++.
