CVA Hunter Centerfire scope mounts?

Last week I bought a Hunter in 7mm-08. I intend to use the light little gun when hunting from a climbing treestand in thick woods.

So far I like it, but I'm having real trouble with the "Dead-On Scope Mount" that came with it. It seems like no mater how tight I tighten the screws, the scope is slipping in the mounts.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

Mine are dead tight, haven't had any problems so far. May be a bad mount..

Mine has always been tight. I actually had the top ring crack last weekend when sighting in my CVA Wolf. Thankfully I had an extra mount.
