Cure for Bloody Clothes

I saw Rugers post and the pic of MAN's pants after carrying his turkey.

I hope you don't mind me using your pic Ruger....


For those of you that ride home in your camo after a hunt.... or just to keep the mess to a minimum.

Put a couple of ZipLoc bags in your turkey vest. The heavier ones with the little zipper tab will last longer for multiple uses. Or if you just have regular Ziploc bags you can use a heavy rubberband or piece of string to secure.... but slip the bag over the turkeys head and secure. Any blood or mess that comes out while walking to the truck will be caught in the bag instead of dripping down the back of your vest and pants.

Hope that tip helps some of you guys avoid having to deal with the bloody mess.

That's a great tip, I keep one in my vest after have to deal with too many bloody pants cleanups.

I got another tip. A Primos carry strap I got from Wing Supply. Has a orange nylon bag to go over the head and a loop for the feet. Carry a gobbler easy and bloody mess free.

PS I wouldn't have bought this if it weren't less than $5. Since I already had an order going I bought that too.

I tired to get man to let me just chunk it in the game bag part of my vest but he would have none of that.
He wanted to carry it out.

I just carry them in front of me arms extended and do curls as I walk. That way I get a workout at the same time haha

When you turn a dead bird upside down it pours blood out its mouth and nostrils. I found that out on my very first bird twenty years ago...nasty.

From then on I always shoved a wad of toilet paper or a paper towel down the birds throat. Problem solved. And we all already carry that on hunts don't we?

Because he is my "little man" and that is what I called him for years.
When he got bigger than me, I shortened it to just "man"

It all stems from when he was born.
22" long and weighed 10# 2oz.

I have leather seats so I useally just wipe them clean. I will definatley bring the bag with me if I drive the old ladys car

When my youngest son was born I commented that he looked like a little bear. He's 27 now and they still call him Bear..haha
