crystal clear satellite imagery

try it again you guys it is way more detailed than these images. i can't figure out how to save the pics to post one. you need to go somewhere where the "birdseye" feature will work. my property works and it is in the middle of no where. i can read signs on the side of the barn.

try it again trust me it is cool
some one post a pic if they can figure out how

click on this. go to image number 1 and push the birdseye you can zoom in from there

Unfortunately, "Bird's eye" areas are fairly limited. They first get high-res images of urbanized areas and rural areas directly surrounding those urbanized areas. Moving up and down the TN River I get find few rural areas where "Bird's eye" images were available.

guess i am just lucky. my hunting property and my home are both available with the birdseye. if there were deer in my foodplots i would be able to see them. too bad it is not live. that would be alot of fun

stirrat -

My Dad showed me that sight too and was I amazed at the imagery. So much so that I am convinced it was taken with aircraft as opposed to satellite. Unfortunately not too many areas have the birds eye view feature though. I guess we're the lucky ones that can do our preseason scouting from the internet...

Here's what stirrat is talking about as far as quality of pic. You can zoom in much closer but this pic shows the detail of the imagery. If I go in too close, you'll just be looking at treetops.

I take that back...here it the homestead zoomed in...

You can even see the same area from a different orientation. Here is the exact same homestead from a North to South orientation.

That's why these images have to be taken from an aircraft, I do not believe a satellite can not produce this kind of orientation.

Here are two more orientations (4 in all N,S,E,W) with the homestead zoomed in.

Now everyone stay outta my honey hole!
