Fun day today chasing those tiny little wild trout that I love so much! Everyone brought several fish to hand. It's been a minute since I've gotten to fish with my ol coworker and buddy John, better known to most for his YouTube channel. Also along was TWRA biologist Josh Bean. This guy is a WEALTH of knowledge and a great fly fisherman! If your on Instagram he post some great pictures! They're usually a week or two out so I'm not sure. Do a search for a video on his channel titled "Extreme mountain creek fishing". We didn't catch a single fish but the water will look VERY familiar to you and you are one of the very few people who will understand that pics don't do it justice on how rough the terrain is!

That "setting" is probably my favorite stream. It's a little rough in places but nowhere that I think I might die! Lol. The trout run on the small side but I don't go there to catch trophies, I go there for the experience. It's just a awesome little stream!
