1 month after planting. It has shot up in the last week.

Sure wish I had a planter to plant mine. Our normally turns out great but the rows just look better... Not sure the deer really care though.

I've planted many a row by hand. You are right-the deer don't care.

In my garden I planted some by hand. Then it started raining. I took my left over seed and just threw it in an area that was tilled, but I wasn't going to use. Didn't disk in or roll it. It's coming up.
