I looked in the guide and it looks like you can but are restricted to a 110 and it can't be baited or lure. That is of course if a box is considered a hole? You might be better off doing the same thing except place a foothold on either end vs the coni? Hard to beat a plain ol cubby set. Obviously not a TWRA answer, that's just how I read it.

3) Snares are legal in the open, 12" rule does not apply to them.

6) Adjacent is the key word here

8) 12" inside logs,stumps, LIKE PLACE (box)

10) 110 is the only coni allowed in the open, but must be within said distance from water.
