Commode spinoff: Tank sweating

The tanks on both my commodes sweat in the really cold weather, I know it’s a combination of taking hot showers in the bathroom plus the ice cold water in the tanks. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos of people insulating the inside of the tanks with rubber mats, wonder if this will eliminate my problem? Anybody else ever deal with this? When I was growing up we used these, not pretty but it was the easiest thing for us to use.
