Cold weather

It’s cold enough that the French Broad River at Del Rio froze over. I’ve saw several pictures of creeks and waterfalls in East Tennessee that are froze.

That's amazing that moving water like that will freeze.

They are calling Reelfoot lake the world's biggest skating rink. Lol

I hunted over a creek on my property last eve that was only partially frozen. This is out on the mtn, and I really thought it would have been frozen solid as cold as it's been lately.

Its been 8.5 days since we were above freezing, my ponds covered with ice. I drilled several holes thru it and it was 3.5 inches thick.

Someone posted a picture of Linville Falls on Facebook, people were ice climbing. The falls are 151 feet tall.

The Nolichuckey is frozen over in places. This shot is looking downstream from the Jones Bridge in Greene County.
