What did y'all really expect? Consider that Deion was a late hire IMO, complete roster overhaul, brought Colorado into the football conversation…give him two years then criticize without abandon…I say he will deliver an exciting season this year for their fans, a second tier bowl next year, then be in contention for a conference championship by year three…

I think he's already done a fantastic job with the program. Just don't think everyone likes the flash is all. I do think it was an eye opener for them, not a bad thing

I'm just hoping this butt whoopin' derails the hype train. I'm so tired of hearing about him. Yes, he's already done wonders for the program. Good for him. But the hype was ludicrous.

Incredibly talented as a player, but his cockiness turned me off. Despise the man. Wish him the worst. I'm deeply disappointed he has been successful so far.
He was fast no doubt and was a great return man. But he was oft injured and was a defensive liability once a receiver or running back had the ball. He wasnt strong enough to tackle some of the bigger receiver and struggle with any nfl caliber back. I will never forgot the vicious he took from giants qb dave brown on a run.

You knew this was coming...

I still think he is doing the best for his players. And yes he is cocky.
His Prime Time persona is just for show.

But if you are a coach in any sport, and hit the field not 100% expecting to win, no matter the opponent, you aren't much of a coach.

I saw an interview he did and he was asked what player or players did he consider as positive role models for his players.

His answer...Jesus. Make Jesus your role model, all these other guys are just models playing a role.
He also stated in the interview that in his entire life he had never smoked any tobacco or weed and had never had so much as a sip of wine.

In his post game news conference he gave credit to the Oregon team and coaching staff and took most of the blame for his teams loss.

He's got a young team. In time I think he will be a winner...

I appreciate his old school mentality and while I dont view him as such, hopefully he understands this is a whole new generation that ain't cut from the same cloth he was and I see this headed down the thug/gang culture road. Who won't want to come play for coach prime at the new "lit" school? Talk about thugs in the NFL. They were in college before the NFL, and in a lot of cases, the streets before college. I understand playing with a chip on your shoulder and having some attitude. Deion can brag because he's backed it up. These kids are another story! They've proven nothing so why after a couple wins is he letting them flash their diamond watches in front of cameras like they're in a rap video? They need to sit their @$$ down, and focus on becoming the power house their coaches talking them up to being before they get another whipping like on Saturday. I understand being hyped up after a win and excited for your season but some of the extra rah rah crap is when I'll lose interest.

Time will tell, and I hope it works out for the players as well as him. It will be interesting.
