UT Vols will meet its standard again this year. They will lose to the top and will beat up on the bottom. Average at best. Maybe a Peach Bowl in December.

I'm not seeing us shock anybody this fall

It all depends on what our definition of shock is :D

Honestly I'll be happy to see them play 60 whole minutes of physical football and not defeat themselves...with no 3rd and 1 long bombs called in from the sidelines. I'd be willing to bet our defense comes in a lot stingier too.

But they will still be better than KY. What are the last three decades, 29-1, 28-2?

I think we will see improvements across the field.

I'm not seeing us shock anybody this fall. But, I do think we have the coach we have been looking for. I'm much more optimistic about the future of UT football.

I think we're still going to be too slow on defense and QB is a huge question with no proven field general on the roster. However, I am expecting to see a team that fights for a full 60 minutes, is more competitive, and hopefully pulls off a upset or two.

The shock the Vols give to the football world is the major difference in coaching, preparedness, disclipine, conditioning, attitude.... Ummm....basically everything Dooley was failing so miserably at. I'll stop now as that is a long list.

I honestly think they will beat everybody they are suppose too and pull at least one upset, if they would have played all 4 quarters last year they would have had several upsets, I see this years team being a lot more disiciplined and the defense being better, only thing that scares me is QB

Didn't you know that Ky basketball fans pull for somebody else during football season? Usually a team like Bama or LSU or one of the other top tier teams. Back in the day, before skins got thin, it was called being a "front-runner".

Any one who can't see this coaching staff as a mass improvement. Well they just don't know much about football.

Im just messing around with everyone on here. Im glad to see UT getting some good recruiting and i hope they have a great year. Out of all fans in college football UT fans are the most loyal and supportive fans than any out there. Atleast the ones i know anyways.

This will not be good but you cant judge him on it. He is getting great recruits and changing what Dooley had brought us down too. The incomming class will however IMO be great in a couple to 3 years then the SEC and the Nation better look out this year though with the Schedule we have we will be lucky to be 6 and 6. It will be a good year for CBJ to go 7 and 5 and win a small Bowl Game then it goes up from there.
