Co-Worker's mom hit a deer yesterday!

She had some glass in her eye, but otherwise uninjured. She had just dropped someone off or they would have been in the passenger's seat!

She didn't see it until it was in the air from her right side!

Is that in Cumberland County? I have a friend who is a state trooper that shared a pic similar to that yesterday

Years ago a elementary school teacher was on her way to school and she hit one just like this one did in the pic but it went through the drivers window. Killed her instantly and almost cut her head completely off! Sad and scary... Just never know.

Eh...car doing 45mph, deer 20mph opposite direction gives you a 65mph closure(sp?) rate.

55 mph speed limit. She's in her 70s, so it is unlikely she was doing any more than that.

Had a co-worker from Canada that had a moose got through the front windshield and halfway through the back windshield. Said it's pretty common up there.
