If you live close enough to drive up there one evening, I would highly suggest it. I took the wife and my 8 year old up there on a Sunday drive today. We saw at least 200 deer up there today. Counted 54 in one field. We saw 3 other trucks up there. Beats the heck out of fighting the traffic in Cade's Cove. It was awesome.

That can't be! They have drastically reduced the hunts there because the deer herd is dwindling.

I saw 80 one evening during turkey season last year and never got off the main road.
