For the past few weeks we have had birds that sound like they are right outside our bedroom window start chirping while it's still dark out. We have never noticed this before in the three years we have been in the house. It's driving us crazy. We even sleep with a fan on every night and they are loud enough to be heard over that fan. I finally got up this morning and looked out. I saw one of the little chirping devils in a tree about 6 feet below our bedroom window. Anybody got any great ideas on how to stop this?

in the dog house! said:
I enjoy hearing them as well. But if you want them gone buy a fake owl, or rubber snake and put it where they perch.

I enjoy them in the later morning hours once i'm already awake and the sun is up. But just not 30 minutes before my alarm goes off like it was this morning.

Cut down the tree or bush whatever's there for them to sit on. The fake owl snake deal is only a short term fix... Been there down that and now I got one less tree....

Moved to a new house in April 2 years ago. Had a stupid Mockingbird that had his days and nights mixed up. Would be chirping and singing at 1:00 a.m. and throughout the night. Drove me crazy.
