I'm going to order a couple, I don't expect great things, but we will see. Note, I think you can only get 1 $10 rebate per household
As far as cheap cameras go, I've had fairly good luck with the $28 Tascos sold by Walmart. Many folks don't know that Tasco was bought by Bushnell several years ago, and Bushnell actually makes those cameras.

Five years ago, those $28 cameras were only 6 MP, but now they are 12 MP. I've gotten anywhere from nine to 14 months of run time from a single set of regular alkaline Duracell batteries. These don't have ANY bells or whistles, settings are limited, and the photos aren't the highest quality, but these basic cameras tell me what I need to know and meet my needs just fine.

I have a tasco camera that has taken probably 100k+ pics over the years and still works
