Chainsaw blade

I need to buy a backup replacement as I hit a screw the other day and toasted my blade chain so had to put the backup on. Question is which one to get. The saw is a Stihl MS180 with 16" bar. Looking on Amazon I see the following. Are the Stihl and Oregon worth twice the price of the Anzac who I've never heard of?

I only have experience with the Oregon chains but they are good chains. Not tried any of those others.

If you use your saw as much as mine (couple times per year), just get the Oregon and move on. That's my thinking, but no experience with Anzac.

Here lately I have had really good luck with tractor supply full chisel titanium chains. They cut way better than the factory chains for my echo.

You have a bar and a chain. Oregon , Carlisle , Sandvick are all good chains . I don't like Stihl chains as much as Oregon. I'll try to take a pic of the place I order from and post. Cheaper and better than most places.

When I had to buy my Husqvarna a new chain I got the name brand. When I had to have it sharpened at my local shop. The guy told me they could make me a chain next time and do not buy one from a store. Said it was better quality and cheaper. Might check with your local shop.

For the record, I've watched YouTube videos so I know way more about chainsaws than @TNTreeman does. There, I said it.

I've had good luck with Oregon chains....never heard of Anzac? But I wouldnt want to struggle with a half price chain to save 10 or 11 bucks.

I've used Oregon chains seem to last as long as a Sthil .

If I was in a situation where I was likely to hit another screw, nail, nail rock etc then I'd get the cheapest one I could because no chain will stay sharp if they cut through things like that

You can call it a blade if you want to. You need to also be sure to have your mechanic check your blinker fluid the next time you have your subaru serviced. Any decent hardware store should have blinker fluid, its usually on the shelf beside the sky hooks, board stretchers, and chainsaw blades.
