Cerakoting a Smokeless Barrel

I have a Remington Model 700 that has been converted to a smokeless ML. The barrel is currently blued and is showing signs of rust. Are there any disadvantages to having the barrel cerakoted?

None that I can think of. It should be media blasted first.

As long as it is prepped properly first then it's a great idea!
