Caught a few

No good pictures since I was fishing alone but I caught a bunch and kept 4 for the peanut oil.

I'd guess I caught 10 small bass and 15 crappie on minnows.

On a different note, this is the first fishing I've done in TN without my son where I truly enjoyed myself. I sure miss the smell of low tide though.

The exposed ground in the estuaries have a unique odor. I believe the smell dictated by the type of decaying plant matter in the surrounding environment.... or perhaps the makeup of the mud... I can't explain it but it has a smell and it's different in different part of the coast.

The smell of the bay was actually a big indicator of where to fish.

maybe smells similar to camden or big sandy bottoms when they pump it out. smells like stagnated water and a couple thousand wallering pigs.
