Congratulations again and glad you got the story up. I've seen deer many times "check" a permanent stand. You used that to your advantage when your loc-on became a decoy!

Great story brother and a not give up attitude the Lord rewarded you . I had many permanent stands on my lease I used to have but at times the deer would pattern you and start skirting the stand but I always took my climber and usually scored by moving . Congrats on the buck brother.

Good deer and good story. I've got smart deer circling my blinds these days. I don't climb anymore but I think I'll use me tree seat or ghost blind and set up just out of sight of some of my stands.
