Carpet replacement on boats question

My father in law wants me to replace the carpet on the hatch lids. What type of glue should I use?

I took the carpet out of mine and put some bed liner type stuff in it made for boats. Looks much better and will last a lot longer.

Check YouTube for videos... Tons of info on there. You could also check tinboats.net and bass boat central. I can't comment from experience. Sorry.

I've used indoor/outdoor carpet glue. Got it from Home Depot. Never had any problems with it.
