Stay home. In Paducah we have ice and snow on top of it. Not much but it's enough to cause bad roads.

Channel 6 Weather just now said Western Tenn will get a lot more than Paducah and it will keep going through out the day. If you go to work it will only get worse when you come home no matter the time of the day.

It's crusty here this morning. Not at all slick on my porches. Very thin ice layer with either sleet or snow frozen on top. Roads shouldn't be bad this morning, but could get bad tonight into tomorrow morning.

Well I came in, mostly to give my boss an idea of the road conditions so he could make an educated call on what to do about production.
It's slicker than shat.
Talked to my buddy that I work with and he tried to come in an hour or so ago and slid off the road so he went back home.
He just text and said he just got out again and it's alot worse now than it was an hour ago.

To add insult to injury, when I put my laptop back on my charging port or whatever you call it, now it won't recognize my other two monitors.
Total waste of time.
I just can't see my laptop good enough to use it all day.

Probably gonna wait till daylight and head back home.

Regardless of weather or anything else, you give me the option to work from home and that's where I'll be. Alas, I'm too important to work from home. I have to be here to insure worldwide commerce continues. Or it could be there's no way to do my job from home. Nah. It's got to be the too important bs.

We are getting heavy rain here going to be in the 50's, fixing to head to Walmart to pick up a grocery order, then back home put deer chili in the crock pot, and pile up in the recliner and watch Tennessee beat Alabama again on YouTube.
Sounds like a great day! Do you realize it's been 466 days since alabama has defeated TENNESSEE in football?

It is really slippery and packed ice in Dyersburg. But my job doesn’t close for anything so I came in to work.
Same.. I usually end up helping other folks get home who are scared to drive, or even some of the ones who walk. I have one guy who will walk to work in a foot of snow and a blizzard(Has) and I always drive him back home when we end up shutting down. Gives me a reason to get the old Jeep out if it’s really bad.

I'm at work. Roads were slick but just took it easy. It amazes me the amount of people that will miss work over stuff. If I'm using vacation time it's gonna be when I want to not when there's a little snow or ice on the ground and can't do anything.

I figured you would miss work, not use vacation, and just make them pay you anyway. #sfmafia
