Camping/Fishing

Hi All,

I asked this over in the fishing forum but since it's a combo of both I thought I would ask here too. My buddy and I are thinking of doing a little backpack camping/fishing trip the week of 4 July. I would love to head out east to the mountains and find a stream/or river and follow it for a couple days fishing along the way. Anybody have any similar experience? Open to all advice and location suggestions.

If you want to go far east in TN I would recommend Roan MT state park. Puts you in some really good trout waters in Doe river and surrounding area. Plus lots other things to do from the park. Book early though.

Dennis cove another choice in the Cherokee national forest, again good stocked trout waters in the creek and other trout creeks/rivers nearby.

Ok ordinarily I wouldn't be this specific but go to tellico and overnite bald river falls if u have a few more days there is lots of good fishing in that area.
